I am still working at Creation and enjoying every minute of it. It’s very hard work and pretty long days which i wasn’t really prepared for when i started; but i’m getting used to it now.

I’ve mainly been working in the mould room making wood, silicone, and fibre glass moulds. A lot of the techniques we use are a lot different to the way we did things at uni, and although i learnt a lot there; the last 2 months have been a massive learning curve in the way i work and also how i view working life.

I’m spending my week days in West Drayton so unfortunately don’t have much time for my own personal projects or building up my portfolio. At the moment i’m working on improving my skills as much as i can so that hopefully when the work at Creation comes to an end, i will be able to go straight into another job!

For the last two weeks i have been working at Creation Workshops mainly helping out with silicone and fibreglass moulding and also painting finishing effects. It’s been a very busy but exciting couple of weeks and subsequentially i have been asked to stay on to work on a huge fibre glassing project.
